Description

Nullifire SC902 Intumescent Steel Coating is a fast-curing fire protection solution designed for structural steel. With its fast-curing formulation, SC902 provides up to 120 minutes of fire resistance to various steel structures, including ‘I’ section beams and columns, hollow columns, cellular beams, concrete-filled hollow columns, and solid steel tension rods.

As a fast-track coating, SC902 allows for all 120-minute loadings to be applied in a single coat, making it an efficient choice for on-site applications. It is weather-resistant within one hour of application and can be used on steel, cast iron, and galvanized steel.

SC902 features a high solids content and offers early weather resistance, becoming showerproof within one hour. Its self-priming system is tolerant of light rusting to steel, allowing for application up to two weeks post-blasting. With high build potential, SC902 can achieve all fire ratings in one application.

This intumescent steel coating is tested to BS476 and EN13381 standards, providing reliable fire protection for a wide range of steel structures. It is designed for on-site use and features the Optifire®+ unique traceability identifier, Certifire CF5144 certification, and CE ETA 20/1216 compliance.
