Stelpant PU-Combination 500 – High Build Moisture Cured Urethane

Stelpant PU-Combination 500 is a one-component moisture-curing low solvent high-build coating based on polyurethane. With very fast drying times, this product provides maximum corrosion protection in aggressive marine and industrial environments. The dry film is highly resistant to both fresh and sea water. It meets the requirements of the BAW, Karlsruhe for Immersion categories Im1/Im2 und Im3 with a 2-layer system and a dry film thickness of only 350 µm. Additionally, the coating exhibits excellent elongation properties. For UV-resistance, Stelpant PU-Combination 500 can be overcoated with a suitable topcoat. When combined with Stelpant PU-Zinc, it offers protection for hydraulic steel structures exposed to light mechanical impact and is approved for exposure to light abrasion by the BAW, Karlsruhe. The approved low DFT 2-layer build makes Stelpant PU-Combination 500 an economical choice for hydraulic engineering applications.
