Description

Plasite 4550 S is a 100% solids, flake-filled epoxy coating tailored for internal steel and concrete surfaces in industrial settings. Its unique formulation, consisting of four parts resin to one part hardener, enables application by plural or single component spray equipment. With a thickness range of 20-60 mils in a single coat, Plasite 4550 S offers exceptional thermal shock resistance from -40°F to 350°F (-40°C to 177°C). Certified for crude oil storage and transportation up to 350°F (177°C), it withstands harsh conditions in environments such as chemical storage tanks, wastewater clarifiers, and pulp and paper liquor tanks. Plasite 4550 S surpasses ASTM G210 for severe wastewater analysis and meets the stringent requirements of SSPC Paint 36 for Level 3 urethane. Its versatility and reliability make it a top choice for industrial equipment protection.
