Description

Carboguard 690 is a high-performance, surface-tolerant epoxy designed specifically for the water and wastewater industry. With its high solids content and low VOC, this coating offers exceptional resistance to water and wastewater exposures. It exhibits outstanding moisture tolerance during application, making it suitable for use in USDA inspected facilities. Carboguard 690 features a high build (16 mils), low-temperature cure capability (down to 20°F), and fast cure response for quick return to service. It continues to cure underwater and can be used on structural steel, piping, tankage, and equipment exposed to industrial or marine environments. Additionally, it is ideal for coatings under insulation up to 300°F (149°C).
