Description

Carboguard 891 VOC is an ultra high solids epoxy designed for water, demineralized water, wastewater, and various other services. It meets FDA requirements for 21CFR 175.300 for direct food contact and complies with AWWA C210 standards. This epoxy is widely used as a tank lining for steel and concrete tanks. Carboguard 891 VOC is self-priming and is typically applied in two coats. It is formulated for application at conventional builds (4 to 6 mils per coat) as well as high builds (10 mils per coat). With ultra high solids content and low VOC (67 g/l), this epoxy offers excellent chemical resistance, thermal shock resistance, and abrasion resistance, making it ideal for water and wastewater applications.
